Who we are
The owner of the IL FORTINO agency in Forte dei Marmi is the surveyor Cristiano Benedetti, a Fortemarmino "DOC" born and raised in one of the most beautiful and suggestive areas of Tuscany, Forte dei Marmi a small village located on the Versilia coast, which has become over the years a solid tourist reality.
The name of the agency is inspired by Fortino, a symbolic fortress of the town, located in the main central square of Forte dei Marmi, or Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi. Originally the fort was built on the shoreline of the sea, but currently with the retreat of the coast, we find it in the city center a few hundred meters from the sea. Its construction was already decided in 1782, but after a series of studies and analyzes, the works were completed only in 1788.
